MFT July Impact: How Your Support with CGOU Empowered Students and Families with MFT

This July, thanks to your generosity, CG-Opportunities for Underprivileged (CGOU) was able to continue supporting Mahavir Foundation Trust (MFT) as they carried out life-changing initiatives in education, culture, and community care. From scholarships and uniforms to food security and cultural celebrations, your donations powered real impact for thousands of people. Keep reading to learn more about MFT’s July impact:

Investing in Education

Scholarships that Change Lives

On July 19th, 648 students received scholarships worth ₹52 lakhs at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Nagargruh. These awards give students the financial support they need to continue their education and pursue brighter futures.

Equipping Students for Success

With the generous backing of our donors, MFT distributed education kits—filled with essential learning materials—to students at ADMS and Asha Deep, helping them start the school year prepared and confident.

Dignity Through Uniforms & Shoes

Around 600 students across Asha Deep Centres and other community schools—including BPS, Swami Vivekanand, Jasoda Colony, and more—received new uniforms and shoes. This support allows children to attend school with pride and focus on learning rather than limitations.

X$$MFT’s Open Scholarship initiative succeeded in large part because of the dedication of their tech team—Vikas Sisodiya, Aditya Jain, and Upanish Doshi—who managed the process seamlessly. Special thanks also to Kalpa Rach, Chairperson of the Intern Initiative program, for guiding this effort.

Golden Jubilee Recognition
At the MI Apex Golden Jubilee celebrations, MFT Founder Members Smt. Sarla Jain and Shri Jayanti Bhai Panchal were honored for their vision, and the Vadodara Kendra was recognized for its exemplary service.

Celebrating Interns
At Navrachna University, a Certificate Distribution Programme honored interns for their dedicated role in making the Open Scholarship initiative a success.

Academic Honor

Nikita Shah accepted the Ennovaterz Honor on behalf of MFT Vadodara Kendra for its outstanding academic impact.

Strengthening Community & Culture

Festive Celebrations

July was filled with joy and tradition. Students celebrated Mehndi Week for Gauri Vrat, paid respect to their teachers on Guru Purnima, and created Rakhis for soldiers—a touching tribute of love and gratitude.

Food Security for Families$
MFT provided 40 monthly ration kits to families in need, ensuring they had stability and dignity in their daily lives.
