MFT August Impact: Celebrations, Creativity and Community Growth

August was a month of joy, cultural pride, and meaningful initiatives across Mahavir Foundation Trust’s ADMS and Asha Deep Centres. Thanks to your support, students and families experienced a vibrant mix of celebration, creativity, and growth.

Celebrating Culture and Patriotism

From patriotic songs and cultural performances for Independence Day to the devotional festivities of Janmashtami and Rakshabandhan, classrooms came alive with energy, unity, and color. These moments not only nurtured cultural pride but also strengthened bonds within our community.

Showcasing Talent & Supporting Education

Children had the chance to shine through a Master Art Colouring Competition and a Patriotic Song Competition, showcasing their creativity and talent. To further their academic journey, full-scap books were distributed among students, ensuring they have the resources needed to keep learning.

Building Awareness for a Greener Future

Asha Deep children led the way in sustainability by actively collecting and recycling plastic waste, spreading awareness of eco-friendly practices while contributing to a cleaner environment.

Supporting Student Success

One of the month’s highlights was the Scholarship Distribution Program at Sayaji Nagar Gruh, where 410 deserving students received scholarships worth ₹32 lakhs.

This vital support will empower them to pursue their dreams and continue their education with confidence.

Caring for Health and Well-Being

A Health Check-up Camp, organized by Vadodara Smile Foundation, ensured students received the care and awareness they need to maintain healthy lives.

Growing Green Together – Upvan 2025

Two new Urban Pocket Forests—Upvan 5 at Chitrakut Society and Upvan 6 at Tarangan Society—were developed using the Miyawaki method. These thriving green spaces enrich local biodiversity, support pollinators, and provide residents with natural sanctuaries, moving us closer to creating sustainable neighborhoods across Vadodara.

Honoring Teachers and Inspiring Students

In a touching gesture of gratitude, Smt. Leena Desai gifted sarees to Asha Deep teachers and volunteers. Adding to the celebration, Cygnus School students distributed prizes to recognize strong academic and overall performance, sparking motivation and joy among their peers.

Together, we’re nurturing education, culture, sustainability, and community well-being. See the full MFT August Report HERE. Thank you for being a part of this journey with MFT and CGOU—your support makes all the difference.
