Celebrating Strength, Skill, and Community: Highlights from MFT’s December 2025 Impact

December was a powerful close to the year at Mahavir Foundation Trust (MFT), a month filled with celebration, achievement, and continued care for students and families across Vadodara. From large-scale community events to hands-on vocational success and winter support, your generosity helped end the year with warmth, pride, and momentum.

Championing Confidence and Teamwork: Annual Sports Day

In keeping with a cherished tradition, MFT successfully hosted its 9th Annual Sports Day for Asha Deep and ADMS students at Billabong International School.

  • Over 1,000 students from 38 Asha Deep centers participated

  • Events included races and sports across multiple age groups

  • Asha Deep teachers were recognized and honored for their dedication

The joy, excitement, and energy of the children brought the day to life. The entire program, including meals and prizes, was generously sponsored by Kaka Charitable Trust, with continued support from MFT. The Parekh family’s generosity helped make the day both memorable and meaningful for every student involved.

Celebrating Creativity and Civic Values: Annual Cultural Evening

MFT’s Annual Cultural Evening, titled “नागरिक चेतना: एक सांस्कृतिक अभिव्यक्ति”, brought together students, families, donors, and community leaders to celebrate civic responsibility through art and performance.

The evening featured:

  • A Ganesh Stuti and MI Prayer

  • A lamp-lighting ceremony with guests from MI Apex, Region 8, and the Gujarat Zone

  • Dance performances by adopted schools

  • Theatre and cultural presentations by Asha Deep teachers and ADMS students, conveying powerful social messages

The program highlighted not only student talent, but also the role of culture in shaping thoughtful, engaged citizens.

Building Skills for the Future: Vocational Training Certificates

MFT continued investing in long-term self-reliance through vocational education. Certificates were awarded to students from the second batch of the Mobile Repairing course, recognizing the successful completion of their training.

Keeping Children Warm This Winter

As winter continued, MFT extended its warm jacket distribution initiative, ensuring students remained protected from the cold. This ongoing support helps safeguard children’s health, comfort, and ability to attend school during the colder months.

Supporting Families with Compassion: Samvedana Initiatives

Through the Samvedana program, MFT addressed essential needs within the community by distributing:

  • Ration kits to needy families, widows, and elderly individuals

  • Sanitary pads to support women’s health, hygiene, and dignity

  • Reused clothing in good condition, offering warmth and care to those in need

These efforts reflect MFT’s holistic approach, supporting not just education, but overall well-being.

Strengthening Partnerships Through Shared Learning

In December, guests from MI Apex, Region 8, and the Gujarat Zone visited the Vadodara center to observe MFT’s initiatives firsthand. The visit included Asha Deep Street to School, ADMS, the Ankur Office, and Upvan, providing valuable insight into the impact of these programs on the community.

December’s impact was a reflection of what’s possible when community, compassion, and commitment come together. As we close out the year, CGOU is deeply grateful for your continued partnership with MFT helping students thrive, families feel supported, and communities grow stronger.

Together, we’re building a foundation for an even brighter year ahead!
